FAQ

1. How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or just unsure about something in life, therapy can offer clarity and support. Many people find it helpful even if they’re not sure exactly what’s wrong — that’s what we explore together.

2. Can I talk about cultural or family pressures?

Absolutely. I have experience supporting clients from South Asian backgrounds, and I understand the complexities of cultural expectations, family roles, and intergenerational challenges. This is a safe space to explore those issues without judgment.

3. What happens if I get emotional during a session?

It’s completely okay to get emotional. Therapy is a place where you can safely express feelings that may have been bottled up. I’ll support you through that process with care and understanding.

4. How long is each session and how often do I need to attend?

Sessions are 50 minutes long, typically held once a week. However, frequency can be adjusted depending on your needs and availability — we’ll discuss this during the first session.
